As a member of the Scandinavian instrumental ensemble Nordic beat, Hildegunn is quite busy. Nordic beat’s latest project has been touring Ghana with the famous rap artists BUK BAK. A tour in Europe is around the corner.

Nordic beat is also ready for a CD recording, so watch out!

Hildegunn is performing and recording with local musicians in Palestine. This is musicians she met on her first visit. In 2003 she did seminars together with Raymond Sereba and Harald Skullerud in Palestine on behalf of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation.  

RABALDER is Hildegunn’s latest project with handpicked artists born to be wild. No rules. No mercy. It might be mellow, but watch out for highly fuelled energy grooves.  “Don’t be afraid, the clown is afraid too”.  

Rabalder contains the musicians from Hildegunns soloalbum project "landskaps leiken". CD producer Svein Schultz on bas. Helge Andreas Nordbakken, percussion. Ingrid Kindem, keyboards and programming. Bjørn Charles Dreyer, guitars and Hildegunn Øiseth, goathorn, vocal and trumpets. 

  

Hildegunn is very proud to be a part of the Telenor cultural program, being involved in various projects for several years. She’s been launching Telenor in Pakistan lately with FRYD and halling-dancer Mads Bøhle together with the Pakistani popact Fuzön. 

“Without the Norwegian concert institute, I believe Norway would stop, and I would consider emigrating again. I’m so grateful meeting all these kids and youngsters on the schoolconcert tours in Norway performing with either Nordic beat or other constellations as  ”rare dyr” etc.”
